Apprentice Electrician

Reports To: Master Electrician / Project Manager
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is designed as a four-year apprenticeship program combining full-time, hands-on field experience with structured classroom education (two evenings per week). Upon successful completion of the four-year program and required on-the-job training hours, the apprentice will be eligible to sit for the Journeyman Electrician licensing exam. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to developing a long-term career in the electrical trade.
Key Responsibilities

Assist Journeyman and Master Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems

Install conduit, wiring, devices, fixtures, and equipment according to code and company standards

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Measure, cut, bend, and assemble electrical conduit

Pull wire and cable through raceways and structures
-
Troubleshoot electrical systems under supervision

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site

Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Demonstrate professionalism with customers, contractors, and team members
Apprenticeship Program Requirements

Enroll in and complete a four-year electrical apprenticeship schooling program

Attend classroom instruction two evenings per week while maintaining full-time employment

Complete required on-the-job training hours each year

Maintain satisfactory academic performance

Demonstrate consistent progress in technical skill development

Prepare for and take the Journeyman Electrician exam upon program completion
Qualifications

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if required)

Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. This position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The Journeyman Electrician may supervise apprentices and is expected to uphold company standards on every project.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC and local codes

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Install conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid), panels, switchgear, lighting, and equipment

Perform service upgrades, panel changes, and generator installations

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently

Ensure all work meets safety standards and passes inspections

Supervise and train Apprentice Electricians

Maintain accurate job documentation and material lists

Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and contractors
-
Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific as required)

Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Ability to work independently and lead small crews
